Korean Face Mask with a "Desi"Twist. (tried and tested!!!)

Do you love beauty treatments but consider yourself broke or lazy to get anything extra ordinary or super expensive. Well look no further because I will be sharing a few super duper easy routines for hair skin and other DIY homemade amazing remedies for health and wellness.

As exciting as it sound I must make myself clear that I am not a certified aesthtician or a doctor these are just a few tried and tested things my grandma and mom have taught me and I learnt over the course of time. Lets start with DIY Korean Coffee Face mask with a "desi" Twist!!!

Okay so the firtstep would be the ingredients, you are going to need
1. Half a teaspoon Regular ground coffee
2. 1 tea spoon Chick pea flour or channa atta
3. 1 tea spoon Wheat flour
5. half a teaspoon Honey
6. Pinch of Turmeric

How to use :

Mix all the above ingredients with warm water until it has a pasty consistency.
Apply on your face and neck for 10 mins. I usually don't let my face masks sit for too long as they really dry up and harden. Gently scrub your face with moist hands and remove the mask. Wash your face with warm water.

POV: Struggle is real !!

Benefits :

Korean coffee and honey mask is known for its benefits such as unclogging pores, reducing under eye puffiness and making your skin radiant.

Chickpea and wheat flour are known for their exfoliating properties giving you soft and supple skin and turmeric which is "the most happening super food" in the west helps control inflammation and acne, therefore, all these benefits in one face mask!!

Traditionally, turmeric paste is applied on the Bride and the Groom during a pre-wedding ceremony in India. Turmeric which is also known as 'haldi' is known to ward off any evil energy spirits and bad omen before the wedding ceremony along with giving you super glowing skin.

This face mask is truly my new favourite, definitely give it a try. I am sure will radiate more than any new-wed bride (hehe!) Take good care of yourself :)

Light of joy!

Hello there and welcome to another episode of "Talking sense with Juhi".. What? What was that? when was the first episode you ask? Well, if my blogs or my instagram posts make any sense at all to you, you are on track with me.   So now the title needs to be elaborated like how I elaborate answers in my law exams. The only difference is I had no idea what I was writing in those papers (God bless my examiner).   I am sure a lot of us love scrolling through our social media during  this quarantine pt 2. I do it too. But did anyone of you notice how that makes you feel? Especially now that we are into this whole new phase of pandemic. Let me put it straight to you, it makes you feel like sh*t. We all are stuck in this loophole of never ending negativity (you cannot deny this) and the fun part is we love churning and churning about it the whole day, discuss it with multiple friends and family members and make sure that their mood is also as sh*itty as yours. Its like...

My self-love mirror..

Namaste my babies! Long time, no see.  Well, Bar Exams + work turned me into a hot mess. Now that the exams are done, let's move on to another episode of 'Talking sense with Juhi'. Okay so I was all new to this concept of self-love back in I guess 2017 during my fourth year in law college. I started reading a lot of books, blogs and was following all the motivational peeps out there on social media. They all pretty much fixated on the concept of self-love for a fruitful life. One of the authors (can't remember her name now) spoke of a wonderful technique of self-love which required looking at yourself in the mirror and saying 'I love you', either in your mind or out loud, preferably with a smile. She also suggested saying affirmations out ...
