Law Exam Shenanigans

Namaste again ! I am blogging early this time. Yayyyy!

I am sure many of you have had your fare share of pre-exam breakdowns and stress attacks. There might be some of you who take up exams like a walk in the park. To be honest, I am not one of those who enjoyed this petrifying and chaotic walk in the park.

Okay, so in my case, I have always been an average student throughout my school life. But serious turn of events took place when I entered law college. I realised my syllabus was never ending and theory was worst than Math!! Therefore, every time the exam date would come closer, I would have serious panicky moments to deal with. I could memorise nothing and my mind would go blank. Not just this, one night before exams I would cry my eyes out. Now looking back at these memories I cannot stop myself from laughing out loud because I eventually cleared all my papers and scored well too (sometimes). I remember carrying pain-killers and stomach meds to the exam hall just in case my gut triggers something nasty. Phew! those were some crazy days. But there is also a fun fact I would like to share. As soon as I entered the examination hall and scanned through my question paper, my anxiety would immediately diminish. Mind you the anxiety was here to stay, it maybe under control but it wouldn't leave a chance to trigger panic in me as I had to come to terms with completing this long-ass paper within three hours ( which seemed too less). Some how, with immeasurable amount of hand cramps and leg shaking, I would complete my paper, by exaggerating my answers and forgetting case law citations. It's only then I left the hall with a mild headache and sleepy eyes.

After all this while, do I still consider my journey from law student to a lawyer as totally worth it. I would say that, these exams are nothing compared to real life work situations with a far more demanding. Somewhere, my law student life made me strong for work life. All the exams, assignment deadlines etc showed me that this journey is going to be totally worth it.

Hope you guys enjoyed this little snippet of my law exam shenanigans. Do follow me on IG: @papasjuju for more updates. See you all very soon. Buh-bye!!!

Light of joy!

Hello there and welcome to another episode of "Talking sense with Juhi".. What? What was that? when was the first episode you ask? Well, if my blogs or my instagram posts make any sense at all to you, you are on track with me.   So now the title needs to be elaborated like how I elaborate answers in my law exams. The only difference is I had no idea what I was writing in those papers (God bless my examiner).   I am sure a lot of us love scrolling through our social media during  this quarantine pt 2. I do it too. But did anyone of you notice how that makes you feel? Especially now that we are into this whole new phase of pandemic. Let me put it straight to you, it makes you feel like sh*t. We all are stuck in this loophole of never ending negativity (you cannot deny this) and the fun part is we love churning and churning about it the whole day, discuss it with multiple friends and family members and make sure that their mood is also as sh*itty as yours. Its like...

My self-love mirror..

Namaste my babies! Long time, no see.  Well, Bar Exams + work turned me into a hot mess. Now that the exams are done, let's move on to another episode of 'Talking sense with Juhi'. I don't know how much sense do I make with these blogs, but nevertheless they do conclude with some sense (hopefully). Now, lets proceed with the title.  I am going to tell you a small story about my self-love incident. Okay so I was all new to this concept of self-love back in I guess 2017 during my fourth year in law college. I started reading a lot of books, blogs and was following all the motivational peeps out there on social media. They all pretty much fixated on the concept of self-love for a fruitful life. One of the authors (can't remember her name now) spoke of a wonderful technique of self-love which required looking at yourself in the mirror and saying 'I love you', either in your mind or out loud, preferably with a smile. She also suggested saying affirmations out ...
