Light of joy!

Hello there and welcome to another episode of "Talking sense with Juhi".. What? What was that? when was the first episode you ask? Well, if my blogs or my instagram posts make any sense at all to you, you are on track with me.

So now the title needs to be elaborated like how I elaborate answers in my law exams. The only difference is I had no idea what I was writing in those papers (God bless my examiner).

I am sure a lot of us love scrolling through our social media during  this quarantine pt 2. I do it too. But did anyone of you notice how that makes you feel? Especially now that we are into this whole new phase of pandemic. Let me put it straight to you, it makes you feel like sh*t. We all are stuck in this loophole of never ending negativity (you cannot deny this) and the fun part is we love churning and churning about it the whole day, discuss it with multiple friends and family members and make sure that their mood is also as sh*itty as yours. Its like someone has made a perfect cup of coffee for themselves and your discussions add more water into it and then the coffee is not coffee or water but some undrinkable gutter water. BTW the coffee is your mood here.

So now what do you choose to be ?

  • Feel like a cup of gutter coffee and make sure everyone feels the same. Or,
  • Become the 'light of joy' during these dark times, not just for others but mainly for yourself.
I am sure the second option is more viable unless you really need some help.
Keep yourself happy only then can you spread happiness.
Simple yet profound, preached but never practised. It's  easy, practice this whenever any bad thought makes you feel uncomfortable, for each bad thought think of 5-10 happy thoughts. This way you can keep stress in check and your body, mind and soul will thank you for that. Also, my personal favourite hack is to call a person who always uplifts you. It can be your friend or parent or a teacher.
Do anything that makes you shine brightly. You have things and resources that many consider luxury. So make most of it y'all!

This was all or today's blog post make sure to follow my instagram page @papasjuju

PS: Should I start an episodic named "Talking sense with Juhi"? I need suggestions.

My self-love mirror..

Namaste my babies! Long time, no see.  Well, Bar Exams + work turned me into a hot mess. Now that the exams are done, let's move on to another episode of 'Talking sense with Juhi'. I don't know how much sense do I make with these blogs, but nevertheless they do conclude with some sense (hopefully). Now, lets proceed with the title.  I am going to tell you a small story about my self-love incident. Okay so I was all new to this concept of self-love back in I guess 2017 during my fourth year in law college. I started reading a lot of books, blogs and was following all the motivational peeps out there on social media. They all pretty much fixated on the concept of self-love for a fruitful life. One of the authors (can't remember her name now) spoke of a wonderful technique of self-love which required looking at yourself in the mirror and saying 'I love you', either in your mind or out loud, preferably with a smile. She also suggested saying affirmations out ...
